Description

These LOOK X-Track pedals are positioned at the entry level of the new XC range offered by the historic French brand. They are ideal for beginner riders looking for a durable, lightweight and effective pedal in all conditions.

Its design has been specifically conceived for the demands of Cross Country, which requires the best possible power transfer and must not suffer from unnecessary weight. The support on the lateral parts of the pedal is thus preserved, to ensure good support under the cleats, which promotes good restitution of the power delivered by the mountain biker during pedalling.

Offering a total contact surface of 350 mm² — less than that of the higher-end X-Track models — this pedal features the same central openings, which provide the necessary clearance for mud evacuation, preventing it from interfering with proper engagement of the system. Patented, it has the advantage of being SPD compatible. Intuitive, it allows spring tension adjustment and offers 6° of angular release.

In this classic version, the X-Track pedal is built around a chromoly steel axle featuring perfectly sealed bearings, sealed by two new seals at each end. The pedal body is made from aluminium.

The pedals are way too flimsy.

"These pedals are way too flimsy. Even though I've only been out on four rides, one of them just broke after barely grazing a tree stump. That's something that happens to every mountain biker, and it's happened to me before with other models from other brands without any issues. Compared to other SPD models like those from Shimano, you can tell the metal is poor quality and way too thin (the price you pay for such a low price). Plus, it rusts easily. This would be an isolated case if it hadn’t happened to a friend of mine four months ago. I’m going back to models that have never given me any trouble."

Great pedals!

"A great product for an entry-level pedal. Power transfer is excellent, and the range of motion makes it really comfortable. It's very easy to clip in and out. A no-brainer purchase. Fast shipping, as usual."

No complaints!

"These clipless pedals are compatible with the brand's own cleats (as you might expect), which come included, as well as with SPD cleats. The clip-in/clip-out action is much smoother with the Look cleats, which surprised me a bit at the first stop despite having tested them a few times before riding. I felt a bit of "wobble" with my SPD cleats, whereas with the Look cleats, it felt like I was one with the pedal. Surprising. I use the SPDs for the city and the Look cleats for "fun" rides."

Great pedals

"A really great pair of pedals—this is my second set, and they do the job perfectly."

Sylvain (5/5)

Well

"So far, I'm happy with my purchase. They're just like the Shimano ones, but in red they look great. It remains to be seen if they're as durable as the Shimano ones."

Cartoon000 (5/5)

Great pedals

"No complaints—the pedals work perfectly."

Lolocyclo (5/5)

They aren't afraid of mud.

"Lightweight pedals that are well-suited for trail riding and XC. They can handle mud."

Ricodi64 (5/5)

Great pedal

"I bought the pedals this week and went for my first ride today—the results were very positive: no knee pain and, most importantly, great comfort when braking on descents. I recommend them over the XT."

Petitflobzh (5/5)

Nothing to say—perfect

"It looks great and performs really well; I ride it a lot on all kinds of trails."

Grigri24 (5/5)

Top-notch

"Great pedals to replace the Rime Atac ones for my daughter."
