Fitting cleats by eye is a recipe for a sore knee and unpredictable unclipping. The CRANKBROTHERS CLEAT TOOL takes the guesswork out of it: its moulded position markers let you adjust the cleat laterally, fore and aft, and rotationally, then replicate exactly the same position on the other shoe.

It also provides the leverage you need when tightening, preventing the cleat from turning under the Allen key. For CRANKBROTHERS pedals, it has built-in sole depth gauges that indicate the thickness of cleat shim needed for the shoe.
