Description

The CANE CREEK Hellbender 70 Visco EC34/28.6 Mid Tune upper cup adds viscous damping to the steering to suppress shimmy, the uncontrolled oscillation of the handlebars.

Ultra-thin plates interlock inside a sealed cartridge: as they turn, they move against each other through a fluorocarbon gel that damps the oscillation before it becomes dangerous. It comes preset to Mid Tune and can still be adjusted to suit the rider’s preference. Built from 7075 T-6 aluminium with sealed Hellbender stainless steel bearings.

Suitable for e-bikes, loaded gravel and bikepacking bikes, and children’s bikes. EC34 external-cup version for a 1"1/8 steerer tube.
