Description

The CANE CREEK DB Kitsuma G2 Coil shock is a gravity-focused coil shock for enduro and downhill bikes with 150 mm or more of rear travel. Its twin-tube design features independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound circuits, adjustable by hand using four single-turn dials with laser-etched markings.

The three-position Climb Switch (Open, Climb, Locked) acts on compression and rebound together to eliminate pedal bob; the Locked position locks out the shock completely. Each shock is hand-assembled and dyno-tested in Fletcher, North Carolina, and has a 9.5 mm solid steel shaft and a two-year warranty.

It is available with a standard mount in six sizes, from 210x52.5 to 250x70 mm. The stated weight is approximately 417 g without a spring: the spring (such as a VALT) is sold separately.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right shock size?

You need to match the eye-to-eye length and stroke specified for your frame (for example, 230 x 60 mm), as well as its mounting type (eyelets or Trunnion). Check these measurements on your current shock or with the frame manufacturer.

What is the three-position Climb Switch lever for?

It offers three modes: Open for descending, Climb for efficient climbing (it adjusts compression and rebound) and Locked which fully locks out the shock, for example when climbing on the road.
