    Frequently asked questions

Does this Ravemen tracker require a SIM card or a monthly subscription?

No, no subscription is required. The tracker works just like an Apple AirTag, using the free Apple Find My. When an Apple device passes near your bike, it sends the tracker's GPS location to your "Find My" app in encrypted form and anonymously.

Is it compatible with Android phones?

No. The tracking network relies exclusively on the Apple Find My protocol. An Apple device (iPhone, iPad or Mac) is required to set it up and locate it on a map.

How can I stop a thief removing the tracker from my bike?

The Ravemen ABF01 housing comes with proprietary security screws with a special drive pattern and the matching key. It cannot be unscrewed with standard Allen or Torx keys, preventing quick removal on the street.

What is the range of the tracker's audible alert?

The built-in buzzer works over a direct Bluetooth connection when you are near your bike (around 10 to 20 metres). You can sound it from the app to find your bike in a locked garage, an underground car park or a crowded bike parking area.
