USWE ZULO 2 L Yellow Hip Pack

The USWE Zulo 2L standard version is a premium hydration hip pack specifically designed for training and racing in mild to warm conditions. It offers a perfect alternative to a backpack by keeping your shoulders and upper body completely free, while lowering the centre of gravity to hip level to maximise your agility on the bike.

Unlike the Winter version, this model focuses on maximum lightness and breathability. Its back panel features a highly ventilated mesh structure that efficiently wicks away perspiration during intense efforts in the sun. It includes a 1.0-litre Hydrapak water bladder with an ultra-practical magnetic tube routing system on the hip pack, as well as clever compartments for your tools and nutrition.

What is the main difference between this version and the Winter version? This standard (summer) model prioritises coolness: its back is highly ventilated to dissipate body heat and its hydration tube is standard (non-insulated) to keep weight as low as possible. In contrast, the Winter version has a solid windproof back panel to protect against the cold and a neoprene-covered tube to prevent freezing.

Do you sweat a lot with this hip pack in the middle of summer? That's the key advantage of the standard Zulo 2L. By keeping your shoulders and your entire back free, you dissipate heat much more effectively than with a traditional backpack. The mesh used on the hip pack is one of the most breathable on the market, which greatly reduces the feeling of clamminess at hip level.

Does the hip pack slip if you fill the water bladder to the maximum? No. Thanks to the lateral compression system and the anatomical shape of the hip pack, the load rests directly on the hip bones. Even with 1.0 litre of water and your tools inside, the hip pack stays perfectly locked in place and does not slide down over your buttocks during effort.
