Description
The TOPEAK hand pump Roadie DA (for Double Action) is a compact pump that doubles your efficiency. Unlike traditional pumps that only push air when you compress the piston, Double Action technology sends air into your tyre with every movement: on the push AND on the pull.
Specially optimised for high-pressure narrow road tyres, it allows you to reach 8 bar (120 psi) with far less effort and in half the time. Its slim aluminium body slides easily into a jersey pocket or attaches discreetly under your bottle cage.
Is it harder to pump because of the Double Action system? On the contrary. The Roadie DA is designed with a small-diameter barrel, which reduces the force required for each stroke. You pump air more frequently, but with less resistance than a traditional high-volume pump.
Is it compatible with MTB valves (Schrader)? No, this model is strictly dedicated to Presta valves (narrow valves). If you are looking for a version compatible with all valves, Topeak offers the Mountain DA version.
