Description
The TOPEAK CO2 Inflator Nano AirBooster L 25G takes Topeak's most compact inflation head (the Nano AirBooster) and pairs it as standard with a 25g cartridge. This kit is designed for those riding with wide tyres (29" MTB, 27.5+ or large Gravel tyres) where a standard 16g cartridge often proves insufficient to reach a proper riding pressure.
The CNC aluminium head is incredibly small and light. It screws onto the cartridge and allows controlled inflation: air only escapes when you press it against the tyre valve.
Why choose this 25g kit over the standard 16g? If you have an MTB tyre (e.g. 29 x 2.20), a 16g cartridge will only give you around 1.2 bar. The 25g cartridge allows you to reach approximately 2.1 bar, which is sufficient to complete your ride without having to top up by hand.
Is the head different from the "16G" version? No, the Nano AirBooster head is exactly the same. Only the cartridge and the silicone sleeve supplied in the pack change to accommodate the larger diameter of the 25g cartridge.
