The pump Mountain TT_G (G for Gauge) integrates Topeak's revolutionary Twin Turbo technology. Unlike a conventional pump that only pushes air during the compression phase, TT technology captures air during the extension phase and compresses it in the cylinder to release it during the push.
The result? You inflate your high-volume MTB tyres 50% faster and with much less effort, even at higher pressures. The addition of an integrated analogue pressure gauge on the pump body lets you check your pressure in real time on the trail, preventing pinch flats or a tyre that is too hard and bounces.
Is it really more efficient than a standard pump? Absolutely. In mountain biking, inflating a 2.4" wide tyre with a small conventional pump can take hundreds of strokes. The Mountain TT_G halves this number thanks to its internal pre-compression system.
Is the pressure gauge accurate for Tubeless? Yes, because it is graduated specifically up to 60 psi. This allows for a much finer reading between 1.5 and 2.5 bar than a road gauge that goes up to 160 psi.
Can it be used on a road bike? It will work (compatible Presta valve), but it is limited to 4 bar (60 psi). It is therefore not suited to high-pressure road tyres, but it is perfect for Gravel and Bikepacking.
