Description

The SHIMANO RC703 Road shoes are designed to surpass performance on road bikes.

The lacing routing and BOA® tightening system ensure balanced comfort at the forefoot. Furthermore, the integrated midsole and upper construction offer an unrivalled level of fit, stability and performance whilst remaining lightweight. The low-stack midsole promotes foot stabilisation, optimises power transfer and improves pedalling efficiency.

The wraparound upper structure reduces overlaps, offering a glove-like fit. Furthermore, the manufacturing is more responsible, with 36% recycled mesh used for the upper and midsole, contributing to a more sustainable approach. The synthetic leather upper, featuring a micro-perforated structure, ensures good ventilation and an optimal fit. Finally, the lightweight nylon sole, reinforced with fibreglass, enables improved power transfer for maximum performance.

Wide sizes have a wide shape at the toe circumference.

"The build quality of these shoes is obvious. Beautiful materials, effective toe and heel protection (non-removable). After several hundred kilometers, comfort is perfect and rigidity sufficient. The tightening system is very ergonomic. Size-wise, I'm a size 42 in dress shoes, a size 43.5 in Mavic shoes, a size 43 in old Shimano shoes and a size 43 in Van Rysel shoes. I took them in size 43 and the size is perfect."
