Description

The SHIMANO DEORE XT RD-M8100-GS 12S Rear Derailleur is designed for the 12-speed single chainring drivetrain of the Deore XT 8100 range, and especially for those who want high-performance components.

With the Shadow RD+ design, this derailleur is better protected from impacts and therefore offers improved durability. The angle is also optimised for a perfect chainline. In addition, the ground clearance is 28 mm higher (compared to the SGS) for extra comfort on rough terrain, and the tension is lower on the small sprocket for optimum efficiency.

 The rear Bump Stopper improves rider concentration by silencing derailleur noise in difficult conditions. This high-durability urethane bumper prevents chain slap by absorbing impacts between the B-link and the rear derailleur B-tension adjustment screw.
