ERGON SM Pro Men's Saddle S/M CrMo Rails

Used by the marathon world champion Alban Lakata, the ERGON SM PRO S/M saddle is the most comfortable model in the SM range offered by the German brand, ideal for long MTB touring rides. It is available here in size S/M, for riders with a sit bone width of 9 to 12 cm.

Measuring 269 mm in length, this model features a Y-shaped anatomical design, narrow at the nose and wide at the rear to ensure good pressure distribution across the entire sitting area, avoiding pressure points. Compatible with the MTB riding position, its fairly flat profile and its coating on the sides allow total freedom of movement, whilst also reducing friction when pedalling.

This saddle stands out thanks to its central decompression channel, hollowed out and perforated to relieve the perineal area as much as possible by transferring the load onto the sit bones and pubic arch. Above all, it uses a lightweight and supple AirCell orthopaedic foam padding, which integrates OrthoCell® inserts (lighter and more durable than gel) on either side of the central channel in the support zone, for greater sit bone support.

In this Pro version, the SM saddle is built around a nylon shell mounted on TiNox rails, an alloy of stainless steel and titanium. It is also covered with a microfibre coating.
