Description

The RRP BPET is a high-precision technical tool designed for the installation and extraction of sealed ball bearings. Unlike makeshift methods (hammer, sockets), the BPET guarantees perfect bearing alignment during insertion, which considerably extends the lifespan of your components and preserves the integrity of your frame (particularly on carbon frames).

This modular system uses specific cups and adapters (sold separately in kits) that bear only on the outer race of the bearing. Whether for the rear suspension pivots of your mountain bike or for your wheel hubs, the BPET transforms a delicate operation into a simple, clean and safe procedure.

Does the tool come with adapters for my bearings? No, the main unit (BPET) is sold on its own. You need to purchase the specific extension kit corresponding to the number on your bearing (e.g.: Kit 1 for 6801 bearings, Kit 5 for 6902, etc.). This allows you to pay only for the sizes you actually need.

Is it compatible with bottom bracket bearings (PressFit)? Yes, provided you use the RRP adapter kits corresponding to your bottom bracket diameters (24mm or 30mm).

Is it easy to use for a beginner? The tool is very intuitive. RRP offers clear instructions and video tutorials. It is the ideal tool for anyone wishing to carry out their mechanical maintenance "like a pro" at home.

Points forts

2-in-1 Design: Enables both extraction (to remove old worn bearings) and pressing (to install new ones).

Perfect Alignment: Prevents the bearing from going in at an angle, which could oval the frame or hub housing.

Bearing Protection: RRP adapters press on the outer race, avoiding damage to the balls or seals during pressing.

Ergonomics & Force: Equipped with two robust handles providing excellent leverage for smooth insertion without excessive effort.

Modular System: Buy the main tool once, then complete it with adapter kits according to the bearing sizes you need (6801, 6902, 608, etc.).
