The MAVIC CROSSMAX S CARBON 29" Wheelset is aimed at XC and light trail riders seeking performance, precision and riding pleasure. Thanks to dynamic and responsive carbon rims, every ride gains in liveliness. This design offers an excellent balance between efficiency, control and reliability, to push the limits on both flowing and technical courses.

The ADAPTIVE LAYUP technology optimises the distribution of carbon fibres to lighten the rim without compromising its strength. Areas under less stress receive less material, while key points are reinforced. This process allows a weight reduction of up to 70 g per rim, noticeably improving acceleration and climbing efficiency.

The ID 360 freehub system guarantees simple, reliable and durable operation. Its dual toothed ratchet mechanism offers the choice between 24 teeth to minimise friction or 40 teeth for faster engagement. Easy to maintain, it requires no tools and benefits from an optimised seal for worry-free use.

The responsiveness of the MAVIC CROSSMAX S CARBON 29" Wheelset is enhanced by the combination of reduced inertia and the INFINITY hub technology. The cartridge Mavic Auto bearings, featuring double seals and a C3 internal clearance, self-adjust to ensure smooth, precise and durable rotation, ride after ride.
