The foam cannon Kärcher (reference 2.644-419.0) is specially designed to work with the Kärcher OC 3/4 range of low-pressure mobile cleaners (including the Plus and Foldable versions). Unlike traditional foam cannons that require high pressure to emulsify the soap, this accessory incorporates a special nozzle capable of generating an active and covering foam with only 5 bar of pressure.
It allows you to quickly and evenly apply your shampoos (for bikes, cars or universal use) directly onto the surfaces to be cleaned. The foam thus projected adheres to the dirt, softens it and facilitates its removal during rinsing. Its transparent 0.3-litre tank is compact, lightweight and attaches instantly to the trigger grip of your portable device.
Is the foam as thick as that from a high-pressure cleaner? At 5 bar of pressure, the foam produced is lighter and more liquid than that of a standard high-pressure cleaner (which operates at 110 to 180 bar). It is nevertheless perfectly calibrated to coat fresh dirt and facilitate brushing or rinsing without damaging your outdoor equipment.
What detergent should I use in this foam cannon? You can pour in bike shampoos, car body cleaners or Kärcher universal detergent. For best results, you can pour the product neat or slightly diluted with water according to the detergent manufacturer's instructions.
How can I prevent the nozzle from becoming blocked over time? Dried soap is the main enemy of small foaming channels. After each use, detach the bottle, empty any remaining detergent, fill it with clean water and spray for about ten seconds to thoroughly rinse the internal mechanism.
