Description

The HOPE TECH 4 EVO TR4 brake represents the ultimate evolution of the legendary Tech 4 master cylinder. Entirely machined from a 2014 T6 aluminium block, it is distinguished by a high-precision design offering an exceptional feel and perfectly controlled braking power. This top-of-the-range model is aimed at demanding riders looking for performance, reliability and personalisation for all-mountain or Trail riding.

The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from major improvements: new piston, floating head, optimised cam, second guide ring and three new levers (optional) for precise and smooth control. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, ensuring a consistent and durable response. The adjustment dials allow easy tuning of the bite point and reach of the lever according to the rider's preferences.

The TR4 calliper, also machined from a 2014 T6 aluminium block, adopts the Post-Mount standard (74.2 mm spacing). It integrates four stainless steel and phenolic resin pistons — two of 16 mm and two of 17 mm — guaranteeing optimal power distribution and excellent heat resistance. The larger pistons increase the braking ratio by approximately 6.5% compared to the Tech 4 E4 braking system.

The brake comes with two types of pads: Racing (green) for competition and All Conditions (red) for maximum versatility. With its 14 colour combinations, its Matchmakers options and its exclusive compatibility with DOT 4.0 or 5.0, the HOPE TECH 4 EVO TR4 embodies the pinnacle of high-end braking.
