The handlebar SPANK Spike 800 Vibrocore is a DH combining the solidity and value for money of aluminium with the comfort and performance of carbon.
Developed in collaboration with riders Tracey and Mike Hannah on World Cup stages, this handlebar made from Super6 MGR aluminium benefits from Vibrocore technology, a complex foam that limits and better dissipates vibrations, and prevents the resonance phenomenon. As a result, the rider is less affected by the terrain, can perform for longer while reducing fatigue in the shoulders, arms and hands.
In terms of geometry, this handlebar features a width of 800mm combined with a rise of 30mm, the ideal compromise between control and performance.

The 800mm length is fine for touring, but be careful when riding through trees; otherwise, I recommend this product. We’ll have to see over time how well the inner lining absorbs shocks on the grips."

"I bought this handlebar mainly because of the yellow and black color scheme, which matches my Mavic Crossmax XL LTD wheels. I also like the sandblasted finish. I haven't tried it out yet because I'm building a bike from scratch and haven't finished it yet. I think it might be too wide for me and my riding style, but the cut lines are there if I need them (up to 3 cm on each side). I can’t wait!"
