The most remarkable feature of the RITCHEY COMP BEACON BB handlebar is its very significant Drop Flare of no less than 36°. In addition to ergonomic comfort and unrivalled stability, it also provides plenty of room for bikepacking-style handlebar bags.
On descents, the Beacon doubles the comfort with a very low Drop of 80 mm and an equally very small Reach of 65 mm. The Evo-style top section offers a wide hand support in the ovalized zone and a slight rearward angle for a more natural hand position during long climbs to the summits.
Inspired by the world of touring, the Beacon allows easy movement of the hands around the handlebar without ever disturbing the handling of the bike, even when loaded with equipment. When touring, changing hand position on the handlebar allows the body to stretch and relax. With the Beacon handlebar, this can be done in complete safety.
Ideal for touring and cycle tourism, on tarmac or gravel tracks — or even in town — this unique handlebar brings a whole new level of comfort and control.
