ERGON SM PRO M/L Saddle TiNox Rails

Used by the marathon world champion Alban Lakata, the ERGON SM PRO M/L saddle is the most comfortable model in the SM range offered by the German brand, suitable for long MTB rides. It is available here in size M/L, for riders with a sit bone distance of 12 to 16 cm.

At 269 mm long, this model features a Y-shaped anatomical design, narrow at the nose and wide at the rear to ensure good pressure distribution across the entire seating area and avoid pressure points. Compatible with the MTB riding position, its fairly flat profile and side panels allow complete freedom of movement, while also reducing friction during pedalling.

This saddle stands out thanks to its central decompression channel, hollowed out and perforated to maximally relieve the perineal area by transferring pressure onto the sit bones and pubic arch. Most notably, it uses a lightweight and supple AirCell orthopaedic foam padding, which integrates OrthoCell® inserts (lighter and more resistant than gel) on the contact zone, on either side of the central channel, for greater sit bone support.

In this Pro version, the SM saddle is built around a nylon shell mounted on TiNox rails, an alloy of stainless steel and titanium. It is also covered with a microfibre finish.
