AERON SuperLite Race Alu Valve CX-Gravel Inner Tube 650b/700x32-52mm

The AERON SuperLite Race Alu Valve CX-Gravel inner tube is one of the lightest gravel inner tubes in the world: 30 g claimed for a 32 to 52 mm range, around 78% less than an equivalent butyl inner tube. At this level, it weighs barely more than half a tubeless setup once sealant and valve are included.

It is rated Level 2 “Race / Maximum Performance” on the AERON scale: 100/100 for both weight saving and low rolling resistance, compared with 20 and 40 for butyl. The trade-off deserves to be stated clearly: for puncture protection, it scores 50/100, the same level as a conventional butyl inner tube — and less than the ExtraLite Protect, rated 75. It is the choice for the cyclo-cross rider changing bikes every lap, or the gravel racer on fast courses. For bikepacking on rough terrain, choose a higher level of protection.

Important: this inner tube is intended for disc-brake bikes. AERON does not approve it for rim brakes, as heat build-up can degrade the TPU.
