Spokes specific to each wheel

This section isn’t for individual spokes. It contains replacement spokes for factory-built wheels — Mavic, Campagnolo, Zipp, Scom — sold by wheel model and exact length. Here, you don’t choose a spoke: you identify the one your wheel needs.

How to identify the right one

• Note the exact wheel model and its model year : a 2017 Campagnolo Zonda and an earlier Zonda do not use the same spokes.
• Check front or rear, and for the rear right or left : the two sides of a rear wheel need different spoke lengths because the cassette requires the rim to be offset.
• The length in millimetres is shown in the product title — 259, 265, 275, 293 mm… It’s the deciding factor.
• Kits are sold in packs of 4, 10 or 12 spokes depending on the brand, sometimes with nipples included.

Flat, aero and carbon spokes

Modern wheels use flat or lenticular — Sapim CX-Ray on Zipp wheels, aero profiles on Mavic wheels — to reduce drag. You need a spoke holder to keep them steady while tightening, or they may twist. Scom even offers spokes made from carbon, which need even more careful handling.

Watch out for MTB part numbers

This section also contains Mavic kits for Crossmax, Crossride, Crossroc and XA, which are mountain bike wheels. Some parts are also used on Allroad and Aksium wheels, which is why they appear here, but check the wheel model in the product title before ordering.

If your wheel isn’t listed

For a conventionally spoked wheel — with an off-the-shelf hub and drilled rim — spokes are ordered by calculated length, not by wheel model. That’s a different job, and a different section.
