Το CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 5000 700c Tubetype Μαλακό ελαστικό είναι ο διάδοχος του εξαιρετικά αναγνωρισμένου Grand Prix 4000S II. Η γερμανική μάρκα σχεδίασε ένα προϊόν που μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί τόσο για προπόνηση όσο και για αγώνες, και τόσο σε βρεγμένο όσο και σε στεγνό οδόστρωμα.

Αποτελούμενο από τρία στρώματα, το Grand Prix 5000 έχει σχεδιαστεί για να συνδυάζει επιδόσεις, πρόσφυση και αντοχή, χωρίς να ξεχνά την άνεση. Για εξαιρετική πρόσφυση στο δρόμο, το ελαστικό έχει σχεδιαστεί με την τεχνολογία Lazer Grip. Αυτό το σύνολο μικρών δομών στο πλάι του ελαστικού εξασφαλίζει μέγιστη πρόσφυση ακόμα και κατά τη στροφή σε βρεγμένο δρόμο. Για βέλτιστες επιδόσεις, η Continental έχει επανασχεδιάσει την τεχνολογία Black Chill.
